Squared spiral bowl earth tone

This bowl is deliberately off-round, made using a method I learned from Paul Soldner. I cut half-moon slices out of the rim, then stretch the bowl to make a flat rectangular shape. I then decorate it with spirals, on the top and on the bottom.

More of a showpiece than a practical one; good for ikebana or displaying small treasures.
